Finite Element Analysis for curved and skewed bridges

Curved and skewed bridges often contain challenging geometric features, such as deck corners, diaphragm/cross-frame connections to girders. In these areas, the software is frequently unable to generate a reliable mesh using only the basic mesh set...

Horizontal Range Option for Loop Alignment Modeling Controls

When modeling a loop ramp (or any situation where the alignment doubles back on itself) point controls and target aliases have a tendency to find solutions that are technically correct across the infield but that are not the intended solution. For...

Ability to define the slope of any points within the dynamic section using the measure tools

Having the ability to quickly check both existing and design crossfall/superelevation would increase efficiency within the program as there would be no requirement to run a template and report to evaluate existing cross slopes

Ability to export and import all corridor objects such as point controls to enable rebuilding of corridors

I know parametric constraints can be exported but if a corridor becomes corrupt then being able to rebuild it from scratch easily would be useful. Similar to an input file in MX

Button to synchronize all template drops for all corridors & linear templates in a file

I'd like a tool that synchronizes all template drops in all corridors in a file, right now they have to each be manually selected in the explorer or on screen.

Skewed template drop ends

Would be nice to be able to skew the end of a template range to match up with bridge abutments, cross roads, or other critical features, similar to how the geometry in OpenBridge can be skewed. This would allow cleaner corridor start and end geome...

Cut and Fill Lines Connect

In the previous Bentley software our DOT used, the software was able to connect the cut and fill lines when transitioning from cut and fill between template drops. Currently the only way that is possible is to have a feature name override on the c...

Add "Point" column to the table in the Corridor Objects-Point Control window to show which point is being controlled

As a Highway Designer I want the Corridor Objects-Point Control window to include a column in the table that shows which point is being controlled so that I can sort based on that point name to quickly determine which point controls applied to tha...

Split Corridor Function

I propose to add the possibility of dividing corridors with the retention of all attributes and elements such as point controls, feature definitions, keystations, etc. It can be seen in the programme files that such an intention to introduce a fea...

Template Display Rules for Null Points

Template Display Rules are very powerful and widely used in corridor modeling workflows. However, Display Rules are only available for components. We would like to extend this functionality to the Null Points. This would open new possibilities for...
