Seems that users generally shouldn't be adding plan based reference files to dynamic cross section or profile window design models known as non-indexed models. Would be nice to prevent someone from accidentally doing this and not realizing.

Wise users open files in read-only mode when they don’t intend to change the file. ORD should promote good file practice to allow us to view geometry when we are in view only mode.
