Geometry Replacer needs to include Vertical geometry
The horizontal Geometry Replacer tool is a step in the right direction, but it needs to include support for replacing profiles as well or have a companion tool of some kind.
Include the ability to use the slope of a terrain when placing a Geometry Point
This would be good for 3D modelling of any item that needs to slope the same as the design surface such as guard fence terminals. This is available within the Drainage and Utilities, but when using this it loads a lot of other information into the...
File branding by Product is problematic for Organizations where multiple software solution are deployed like OpenSite, OpenRoads, OpenRail and OpenBridge. The schema(s) within the file should be analyzed at file open rather than the last authoring...
User option for linear stroking when creating terrains while processing field data in 3d files.
It would be very useful to big back the user option for stroking linear elements when creating terrains. This was available in v8i and greatly enhanced our surface models. Right now there is a configuration variable but it can't be set by users. A...
Rename terrains, linear templates, surface templates and other elements by selecting from Explorer list>(right click) Properties
At the current OpenRoads version, we need to select the terrains at 3D view then click properties in order to rename. It would be better if it can be renamed just by selecting the terrain name from Explorer list>(right click) properties.
Need ability to toggle slope percentage annotations above/below the flow arrows on terrains. This will help with design and analysis. An option could be added in the flow arrow properties, please refer to the attached snapshot.
It would be helpful to have a process corridor button in the corridor objects dialog. That way a user could remove rules, make edits to templates, point controls and parametric constraints then turn the rules back on and reprocess.
Ohio DOT would like the ability to create Seeding Reports like those that could be generated within GEOPAK from the cross section candidate elements (or components) with their end width (slope lengths) including similar options that GEOPAK offered...
