Replace or swap master survey terrain without losing links or relationships
Replace or swap master survey terrain without losing links or relationships to design elements or other corridors, DGNs etc. I use a complex terrain to achieve this now, it would be nice to have another option
This comment is coupled with another idea I had regarding selective update of annotations. Again the problem stems directly from the dynamic nature of ORD. Usually the process to create a cant for an alignment goes as follows: -Creation of speed t...
I would like to start using RM Bridge with shell elements for transverse analysis, however, I have just found out that currently it does not provide envelope results for shell forces, this is an essential tool for live load transverse analysis.
Allow cut and fill meshes to be created by named boundary
When creating cut and fill meshes in ORD it creates the meshes for the entire design file. This applies a feature definition for both the cut and fill meshes that only allow for one applied shrink/swell rate. It would be helpful to be able to appl...
OBM should allow o define sharp corners for decks and barriers (in addition to rounded). Currently every turn is interpolated using spline type of line, without control from user end (regardless of the manipulation for the chord and distance betwe...
We create typical cross sections as part of our plan set. I've seen guidance from Bentley on how to use different parts of the 3D corridor model to cut cross sections in specific places and then use those cross sections as the typical cross sectio...
Add option to create Mass Haul Diagram from End Area Volumes.
Currently the Mass Haul Diagram volumes are generated from 3D mesh volumes and the End Area Volumes report calculates the volumes from the cross section areas. Hence there is a difference between the Mass Ordinate values between the two reports. I...
Civil Cell dgnlib - Sort by name rather than date created
Currently Civil Cells are sorted by date created rather than by name when loaded from a dgnlib. This makes it very difficult to sort these. Oddly, when they are within a file (where the civil cell is "living") they sort by name.
