This code would be similar to the DIST command, except it would allow the crews to add a taped distance to the last segment of a figure, which would extend that segment by that value. It would be similar to a DIST commend except instead of turning a 90-Degree angle, it would be a zero angle. Any following command (DIST, CL, CLSRECT) would use that computed point to continue the figure and to compute any segments. In other words, the actual shot would not be used but the point at the extended distance would be used.
