it would be more accurate to calculate the structure Height if when a pipe is connected to a structure that the bottom base slab was adjusted to be below the wall of the pipe. this would also make the 3D model look better.

As an example of this, I created a new design file, set the Calculation Options, then placed a few nodes and pipes. I also added some flow to the nodes, and computed an "Analysis" scenario. The result is shown in the attached picture. I used ORD 2026 for this, and chose to show the nodes using the Walls and Base option.
That's a good point. Although the video shows computing a "Design" scenario, if you set the Calculation Options for the Sump Depth before you place the conduits, then they will apply automatically.
As shown in the video at 2:08, the software currently requires a "Design" calculation to be run before the elevation adjusts from the invert to the bottom of the conduit. This should be an active calculation that impacts "Analysis" scenarios as well. Ideally, it would function like "Conduit at Node Edge," where changes are automatically applied to the entire model without requiring a design run.
It is inconsistent that these two similar issues—node edge and pipe thickness—were addressed differently, with one being automatic and the other dependent on a design calculation. Many of our projects and scenarios rely exclusively on "Analysis" rather than "Design," so having this update apply automatically across all modes is essential.
