Add loading options in LEAP Concrete (Previously known as RCPIER)

  • Provide an option to enter girder properties for both the back span and fwd span if varying girder properties between back and fwd span

  • When generating moments due to braking force, provide an option that distributes the moment divided by 10 and applied at increments of 0.05L, 0.15L,... 0.95L. For a multi column bent this prevent the center DS from receiving most of the moment.

  • Provide option to generate temperature load for steel and concrete span in one input box (for example, sliding bearing in bk span and elastomeric bearing in fwd span)

  • Let program compute effective moment of inertia using cracked moment of inertia and provide option to report deflections due to cracked section for both cap and columns (especially single column bents) (see Eq. 5.6.3.5.2-1)

  • Provide option to design pile footing using 3D STM

  • Provide output of estimated pier stiffness in both the longitudinal and transverse direction

  • Provide output that reports auto-generation of wind load and LL. Usually the report doesnt specify all the information (for example, when CE load is generated with LL, the output report doesnt specify which direction the CE load is applied. In the WS case, the output report doesnt specify wind category exposure, length of LL, gust effect factor, etc.)
