A formula could be made using existing columns to calculate a value that is atypical or not an option otherwise. I need a pipe full flow velocity check for a design. I can use excel to calculate using full flow capacity and full flow area but if that extra step could be removed it would be nice.
This functionality already exists - you can use User Data Extensions (UDX) to do calculations.
The properties of a conduit include the full flow area and capacity, so you would need to create a formula UDX to do the calculation. The formula will re-evaluate automatically, and you can choose which category it's displayed in, in the Drainage properties, so once it has been set up it should look after itself.
