Copy Lines Drawn in Profile Window to Other Profile Window
In order to correctly design Crossovers, profile information needs to be sketched out between profile windows. This is very difficult without the ability to draw lines in a profile window and then copy them to a profile window for another alignment.
You indeed can copy/Paste between any views.
I use this workflow to copy/paste profile lines when the only data source is a DWG profile.
0) Adjust vertical deformation in your ORD profile to match the source profile setting
1) Select the line you want to copy
2) CTRL+C
3)Give focus to profile view
4) Paste
Does profile intersection point and project element not suffice? Could you elaborate?
