We need a snap setting to be active by default for self-attached attachments created by 3d cuts in profiles. Currently, the snap setting is set to off by default, which forces us to always turn it on manually in the attachments dialog, which is an extra step every time we want precision in designing vertical alignment relative to 3d model e.g. approach to junction. I realize the Visible Edges option is set to Cashed and persist snap doesn’t work but ability to snap is still very useful. Also, snap=1 in configuration variable MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS doesn’t seem to work for this.
