When a custom line style is updated in the workspace, it does not update existing files that have used the previous line style (of the same name). The only workaround is to:
Manually delete all of the line styles you want to update
Remove the definitions embedded in the file by using the key-in command "delete unused linestyles [line style name], which has to be performed once per line style you are updating.
Redraw every line you deleted, which now will use the updated line style
This workaround could be quite time-consuming. I still think of this as a platform defect since it is a workspace change not reaching the user, but I was told to send it in as an idea. Thanks!
