Ability to use Profile Named Boundaries across references

Currently in ORD 10.11, plan Named Boundaries can be utilized as a reference allowing a user to create drawing and sheet models from another .dgn file. However, this is not possible with profile Named Boundaries. Within the file where the user wishes to cut sheets from, the named boundary file must be referenced in in addition to displaying the profile that the named boundaries are created from. When navigating the Named Boundary manager, the profile group shows in the list which would seem it is reading the civil data but the saved views do not come through in the profile window which disallows the user from continuing in the process. My current workflow is that I still need to cut profile sheets from the file directly where the named boundaries are stored.

To reference in the profile Named Boundaries from another file, attached the plan view to your destination plan view. Then open the Profile View that has the Named Boundaries you wish to see. They won't be there yet. To make them visible, click the button shown below. Please let me know if that fits your needs.
