Using display rules can be very difficult when you have nearly identical components on top of one another. We've all tried to eliminate this difficulty by using a ton of different templates, but that can be even worse when conditions keep changing during design and every template drop has to be constantly updated.

My idea is to make the best of both worlds by allowing display rules to be applied to the corridor, and the corridor dynamically changes templates based on the results. The corridor would effectively have it's own "null template" that is not constructed but only serves to select which template to use as you move down the alignment.
