Open Roads Deed Writer fields should work with text favorite expressions (EC expressions). There are similarities in what the two different syntaxes are trying to accomplish.
Right of way (Deed phrases) are basically text favorites. A text favorites library of deed phrases could be built. These text favorites could be organized in groups such as preamble, strips, commencements, linear, curvular, Area, closings, etc. Civil Labeler can target multiple civil geometry elements. The Deed phrases could be built into a Civil Labeler Library and organized similar to the text favorites. Bentley could develop and Advanced Civil labeler tool that is basically numerous independent Civil Labelers lunched at the same time. Additional features would be needed to combine and organize the results from the numerous civil labelers. Text favorite pick list would also be handy for user defined variables. If the text favorite pick list isn’t feasible we could develop item types that are attached to the commencement or parcel. ( I also logged an enhancement for Item types for deed phrases on the Ideas Portal.) Additional text favorite formatting would also be needed. For example I don’t think the bearing format for “Compass Direction” is supported as a text favorite.
