Profile by best fit - Curve radius

Request to introduce the ability to create a profile by best fit by defining the radius of the arc rather than its length?

elevation analysis in profile view

Elevation analysis needs improved within the profile window. Specifically elevation differences. Either at a single station or point, or minimum distances, etc. In the attached screen shot, I would like to know where my minimum distance occurs bet...

List Points in Numerical Order When Generating Horizontal Point Report

Currently when generating a Horizontal point report, ORD does not list the points in numerical order. Say we have the points P1 through to P100, they should not be listed as P1, P10, P11, P12......P19, P2, P21 etc. seems it sorts by alphabetical o...

There needs to be a better way to understand the relationships between elements and reference files that are created by snap rules and constraints.

This improvement would use graphic symbols (construction elements) to represent constraint relationships in plan view. For horizontal elements that are snapped, there are the snap glyphs that show that there is a relationship, but there is not a w...

Horizontal and vertical geometry - edit vertical elevations/profile in plan view, improve geometry snap rules/constraints.

We have used the horizontal and vertical geometry tools to create terrain models for site design of rest areas. We have found this to be very inefficient and time consuming. For example, the rest areas typically have sidewalks that vary in width, ...

Ability to append, join, or combine individual alignments and have it hold the sub alignment stationing, which would create station equations

In Geopak, we had the ability to take individual alignments and create an overall alignment from a subset of alignments and it would hold the individual stationing for each alignment, creating station equations. There is no way to do this in ORD u...

Improve Civil Analysis to another alignment

Wasn't sure whether to post this to technical support as a bug or here. This is a tiny concern in the greater scheme of things but a frustration nonetheless. Suppose you use civil analysis tool to track a horizontal alignment with an active vertic...

Create a tool to clip alignments.

Create a tool to clip an alignment at any location along the alignment that does not affect or change the stationing or the station equations even if you are clipping the beginning of the alignment.

Would like the ability to dynamically rotate a point feature.

We would like the ability to dynamically rotate a Point Feature, like we can do with a regular cell. Currently you can only enter a rotation by manually entering a number into the dialog box.

Geometry Builder Interior Angles

We often get plats that have interior angles and distance for the parcels, tracts, etc. It would be nice if this option was in geometry builder.
