Currently, the only way to update Annotation is to update ALL or one drawing model at a time. It would be very helpful to be able to select a station range to remove and then update in one action.
A geometry tool is needed to easily create a Compound Horizontal Curve with Spiral segments. Having the ability to quickly compute a Spiral-Curve-Spiral-Curve-Spiral between two tangents would be greatly beneficial to the track design work we do. ...
We need that when writing down the singular points of a railway deviation (P0, P1, P2 and P3), they are joined by straight lines P1 with P2 and P0 with P3. See attached image. In fact, the V8i version did represent the detour scheme. Thank you!
ROW Workflow - Functionality in Connect equivalent to Geopak COGO input files
In order to comply with the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions "Minimum Standards", the Kansas Department of Transportation is asking for an enhancement to OpenSite Designer CONNECT Edition software for Right of Way workflows as follows:

Add a Geometry Connector tool for Vertical Geometry
Cuurently OpenRail implements a tool called Geometry Connector (similar to Multiple Horizontal element Regression Analysis in Power Rail Track). However similar geometry tool is not available for vertical geometry calculations. It would be possibl...

Enhancement to Create Terrain Model from Multiple Toggled Field Books
There is currently not a way to create a terrain model from toggling multiple field books under the Survey Data tab. Users can currently use the Create Terrain Model From Field Book Selection Set tool to create a terrain from an element selection ...
Add the ability in a Plan Annotation Group to label non-curve PI's with the deflection angle
I would like to request a new alignment annotation that labels a non-curve PI in a horizontal alignment with the station, the deflection and piece of text that says "no curve". I can create the text favorite that displays the station and the text ...
The ATOOL was something we used regularly to quantify the area of multiple shapes. This tool helped streamline the process of calculating quantities as needed.
Allow users to see horizontal and vertical alignments while in view only mode.
Wise users open files in read-only mode when they don’t intend to change the file. ORD should promote good file practice to allow us to view geometry when we are in view only mode.
