I would highly recommend to let user to snap to arc or spiral end in profile design. As you can see in the attached video I can't find intersection between profile alignment and vertical line that indicates arc/spiral end.

To find intersection between my profile alignment and arc/spiral end, at first I have to draw a vertical guideline along arc/spiral end, and then I'm able to find desired intersection. In the end of course we have to manually delete the guideline.
