Sometimes mistakes happen. Rather than closing out of the window and waiting for ORD to undo the mistake, the "Undo/Redo" button would make the design process all little smoother. The button won't end mistakes but it sure beats having to close out of the table editor window everytime a new point is placed in the wrong spot.
