We tend to make a large number of corridors which build a totaal model and export the model as a whole and not per corridor as that is only part of a model. Exporting per corridor would increase the workload and time taken. we export per as, and per work area. this may be 50 corridors export as 5 Named boundary groups linked to an as, 10 work areas (in one named boundary group) not linked to an as, and the totaal model. if we do this per corridor then it would take hours with every chance of making errors instead of 30 minutes to export all volumens and IFC's. It would be handy to keep the old export module as an IFC Light export as this is 10 times faster than the new module. I do understand that the purpose of the new IFC export is to be conform the international IFC export protocol.
