Unlike the OpenRoads v8i functionality for this tool, Plan by 3D Element does not create Geometry that has an Active Profile and therefore can't be used for the majority of functions users want by default, namely Point Controls (in ORD and OBM Decks) and Profile projections.

Enhancing this functionality to have the profile detected as "Active Profile", naturally with any processing loop detection, will allow users to use this functionality and retain dynamics to keep the model up to date. Currently users need to simplify the horizontal geometry, then the vertical and then set the profile as active - loosing any links the source 3d data (which may be 3d only corridor features) and having to go through a lot of steps just to use the geometry they created.
