Constructing horizontal or vertical geometry tangents with endpoint snap rule enabled creates a one-way relationship only allows editing from one direction. In contrast, MicroStation constraints allow for two way editing. For example the coincident constraint locks endpoints together regardless of which tangent is edited. Fixing/locking a point (PI or VPI) would allow for editing slopes or bearings and distances in either direction without moving the PI. Replace or update the snap rules with functionality similar to MicroStation constraints.
