Collision-Free cross section annotation

There appears to be a feature in OpenRail and previously was in InRoads where you could specify in the Annotation Group to have the annotation shift if there was an overlap with another annotation but can't find the same feature in OpenRoads Designer. Would be extremely helping with annotating cross sections as moving the labels by hand is really time consuming.

Acknowledged. Consider using Frame Annotation for Cross Sections. Frame Annotation supports collision detection.

DEFINITELY!! Due to the design of our channel templates, there are two layers that get annotated, with the resulting tow annotations directly on each other. And in many of our placement areas, some points end up so close that there are many overlaps as well. Add in the process when improving an existing channel, we then get 4 texts overlapping each other, in at least 5 places on each cross section!

For now we have just removed all the dimensioning annotations from the active annotation group in the file and added manual dimensions where needed.
