In the Properties of many Survey Settings, there is an ellipsis button that opens a dialog box to edit a group of values. A partial list of these includes VBA Feature Macros, Link Codes, Feature Exclusions, Data Import Items, Substitute Strings.

When selected, the dialog box that opens contains a grid with headers and rows. These open as fixed sized dialog boxes, and while you can make a column wider, you cannot widen the overall dialog box. Many of these fields can take very long strings of characters and making modifications within the current interface is not easy.

While some of these supports an import and export capability, a resizable dialog box seems like an easier approach and therefore less likelihood of an XML Syntax error creeping into the process.
