Parallel snap with Civil horizontal line

When creating centerline geometry you may need it to be parallel to outside boundaries like Right of Way. It would be convenient to be able to select that snap and use it like it works for MicroStation lines.

Event point description reporting

I have imported several groups of horizontal event points such as viaduct start and endpoints. The points include their point description. I would like to report Station, Easting, Northing and the point description but the "Horizontal Alignment Ev...

Point Table using MicroStation Table Styles

This would literally save large projects 100s of hours. Plus having points in tables that are ruled eliminates so many chances for errors. Other civil products have had this feature for years. Creating grading points on plans is so easy when table...

Add a “Chord" Toggle to all the Horizontal Curve Tools

To have to go to the Back Stage and select Settings ==> File ==> Design File Settings ==> Civil Formatting ==> Degree of Curve Method to change from an Arc Defined Curve to Chord Defined Curve is not a good workflow. In our State we ca...

Name individual elements when using Complex by PI

You can name an element if drawn 1 at a time with tangents and arcs. But if you use Complex by PI you can't go back and name your elements to make it easier to report on your geometry.

Create a Geometric report

I would like to file an enhancement request to create a report displaying geometrics, stations and offsets. I have attached an email with the details on how we would like the information displayed in the report. Here’s the information from our me...

Parent -child relationship for polygon elements.

For RW acquisition. Item types would be inherent from the parent polygon and the ability to subtract area from Parent area to child area. Similar to a parcel element in Geopak.

Auto Create Event Points at Drainage Nodes

CTDOT would like the ability to create event points from Drainage Nodes. Many of our projects have a lot structures and manually adding event Points at each crossing is tedious. Projecting drainage on XSCs still does not work like we need it to, s...

Offset Alignment - Controlled by Station, Offset and Cross Slope.

An OFFSET ALIGNMENT / GEOMETRY CHAIN command would be a gamer changer for ORD. Most of our geometry including "edge of pavement", "curb" and "ditches" are controlled by station offset cross slope from a control line. Currently to create offset geo...

Single Offset Partial/Entire Element creates complex elements with the ability to add/remove tapers

One of the factors prohibiting the use of civil geometry in plan production is that it can often feel cumbersome to implement design changes without 'breaking' your previous work. Let's say you have an intersection designed using civil geometry, a...
