The ability to show the cross-pipes in profile runs right now is by default a user preference. It would be nice if this could just be a standard function or at least set to "True" as a default to be turned off if desired.

I imagine the interface would look similar to the template library, including the ability to turn off all point names, if desired. I'd still keep the head's up info when hovering on a point.
