It would be helpful if multiple drainage nodes could be assigned to a terrain in one step. This would solve a problem if someone deletes the proposed terrain that was used to initially layout the drainage system. Currently users have to update the nodes one by one in these situations. Furthermore the "Modify Points" tool within the horizontal geometry does indeed provide this type of functionality for modifying point elevations.

Make a Selection Set of the nodes you want to change, open Properties, change/assign a terrain model.
This would be much easier with a sort feature, especially if your nodes get out of order or you have a bunch of nodes.
